1. Who is responsible for your data

The data controller is , a company incorporated under the laws of the Principality of Andorra, with registered office in Andorra (the "Company", "we", "us"). Contact: hello@o-domo.com. We process personal data in accordance with Andorran data-protection law (Law 29/2021, LQPD) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

2. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email address, phone number, country, language, hashed password.
  • Subscription and billing data — plan, billing period, payment status, invoices. Card payments are processed by Redsys; we receive only a payment reference/token and never store your full card number.
  • Installation and usage data — building/device configuration, device names, scenes, automation rules, technical logs and diagnostics needed to operate and support the Service.
  • Technical identifiers — device and push-notification identifiers used to deliver notifications and keep your devices in sync.
  • Media — images you or your devices upload (for example camera snapshots), stored in cloud object storage. Live camera streams are viewed through the Service and are not recorded by us unless a feature you enable says otherwise.
  • Support data — when you contact us or report a problem from the app or this website: your name, email address and the message you write. A bug report may additionally include technical information about your device (app version, operating system, device model, installation identifier, connection state) and a recent excerpt of your O-DOMO server's log — but only when you tick the corresponding box, and the app shows you exactly what will be attached before you send it. Passwords and home keys are never included.
  • Website data — the strictly necessary cookies described in Section 8 and standard server logs (IP address, timestamps) kept for security.
  • Partner data — if you register as a distributor/installer: company name, contact person, tax ID, and sales/commission records.

3. Why we process it (purposes and legal bases)

  • To provide the Service (contract performance): account management, device control, subscriptions, support.
  • Billing and legal obligations (legal obligation): invoicing, accounting, tax.
  • Security and abuse prevention (legitimate interest): logs, fraud checks, service integrity.
  • Service communications (contract performance): verification codes, payment and subscription notices. Marketing communications are sent only with your consent and can be withdrawn at any time.

4. Where your data lives

Cloud data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure. Some data (such as your local device configuration) resides primarily on the O-DOMO server installed in your own building and remains under your physical control. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as EU standard contractual clauses and the recipient's certifications).

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with: (a) processors that help us run the Service (Microsoft Azure hosting, Redsys payment processing, transactional email delivery), bound by data-processing agreements and required to protect it to at least the standard described in this Policy; (b) your distributor/installer, limited to what is needed to manage your installation and their commission, if you purchased through one; and (c) authorities where the law requires it.

6. How long we keep it

Account and installation data: for the life of your account and up to 12 months after deletion (backups). Billing records: as long as tax and accounting law requires. Security logs: up to 24 months. Media you delete is removed from active storage promptly and from backups on their normal rotation.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interest, by writing to hello@o-domo.com or using the account deletion page. You may also delete your account and associated data at any time from within the O-DOMO application (Delete account, available from the settings and legal screens). You may also lodge a complaint with the Andorran Data Protection Agency (APDA) or your local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies

The website uses only strictly necessary, first-party cookies: odo_lang (your language), odo_site_theme (your theme) and technical session/anti-forgery cookies. We use no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

9. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures: encrypted transport (TLS), encrypted storage of sensitive data, hashed passwords, access controls and the principle of least privilege. No system is perfectly secure; notify us immediately of any suspected breach of your account.

10. Children

The Service is not directed at children and requires an adult account holder. We do not knowingly collect children's data; household members may naturally appear in camera images captured by your devices — you are responsible for using such features lawfully in your household.

11. Changes

We may update this Policy; material changes will be notified (e.g. by email or in-app) before they take effect. The date at the top indicates the current version.
